Ingredients:
- Vankayalu: 250g (longitudinal sections)
- Tomato: 1 big
- Onion: 1 big
- Green chilies: 3
- Ginger- garlic paste: 1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder: 1 tbsp
- Turmeric: a pinch
- Salt
- Oil
- Garam masala: 1 tsp
- Oil in pan- add onions- saute till golden brown
- Add turmeric
- Add chopped tomato and green chilies- cook until water is gone
- Add ginger- garlic paste and vankayalu
- Cook for 2 min.
- Add coriander powder, red chili powder and salt
- After 1 min., add garam masala
- Add water
- Close lid and cook until done.
- Serve hot with rice/ roti
